About The Band

Sparrows & The Last Train is the full band incarnation of Tucson-based Americana group Sparrows, led by
singer-songwriters Liz Cerepanya and Peter Dalton Ronstadt. Blending rich vocal harmonies and acoustic textures with
electric energy, the band delivers a dynamic, roots-driven sound that moves seamlessly from intimate storytelling to
expansive, high-energy performances.
Rooted in the musical traditions of the American West and Sonoran Desert, Sparrows’ songs are carried by Liz and Pete’s
distinct vocal blend and brought to life by a seasoned ensemble of players on bass (Ed Friedland), drums (Tyrus Watson),
banjo (Don Armstrong), and multi-instrumentation (Alvin Blaine).
Peter comes from a long line of musicians in Tucson and the Southwest, including his aunt Grammy Award–winning artist
Linda Ronstadt, father Michael J. Ronstadt, and great-grandfather Federico Ronstadt. Together, the group brings both
heritage and a fresh perspective to contemporary Americana.
Whether performing in listening rooms, concert series, or outdoor stages, Sparrows & The Last Train offer a compelling live
experience balancing warmth, musicianship, and a deep connection with the audience.
